Eligibility

Wisconsin artists, emerging or established, age 18 or older, are invited to submit original 2D artwork.

Submission & Membership

The submission fee for this show has been waived. Participation requires Impressions Art membership (Guest Artist, Member or Community Member). New artists should select the membership level that best suits their needs.  Memberships begin at $30 per year and include multiple benefits. Please refer to the Membership link on our website, impressionsart.org for details.

This show is hung in Art Parkway and Showcase Place locations.  Each piece of art is QR coded for 24/7 purchase availability.

Exhibition Schedule

  • July 21 – August 21: Call for Art submissions

  • August 21 (midnight): Submission deadline

  • August 24: Artist notifications sent via email

  • September 8 & 9: Artwork drop-off (10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.)

  • September 11: Opening Reception (4:00–7:00 p.m.)

  • November 8: Exhibition closes

  • November 9 & 10: Artwork pick-up (10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.)

    • Artwork must be original; reproductions, including giclée prints, are not accepted

    • Each submission must be a single piece; diptychs and triptychs are not eligible

    • Maximum framed dimensions: 36" x 36"

    • Artists may submit up to four works

  • Submissions must be completed online at impressionsart.org under Submit Artwork. Please prepare the following in advance:

    • Submission images

    • Artwork details (title, dimensions, medium, price)

    • Artist biography

    • Profile photo

    • Images must be front-facing, tightly cropped, and unframed (2D work)

    • Sharp focus and accurate color representation required

    • Correct orientation (portrait or landscape)

    • JPG format, 300 dpi, under 4MB

    • File naming format: artistname_title

    Selection for tis exhibit will be juried.

  • Item deAccepted artwork must be delivered during designated drop-off times unless alternate arrangements are approved

    • All packaging materials must be removed by the artist at delivery

    • Artwork must be labeled with artist name, title, FRAMED dimensions, medium, and price

    • Artwork must be wired; sawtooth hangers are not permitted

    • The gallery may refuse work that is damaged, improperly prepared, or non-compliant

    • Artwork may not be removed prior to the exhibition’s close

    • At time of delivery, artists will be required to sign an Artist Agreement.

    While artwork will be handled with care, Impressions Fine Art Gallery, its staff, and Blue Harbor Resort are not responsible for loss or damage. Artists are strongly encouraged to insure their work.scription

    • All exhibited artwork must be for sale

    • Impressions will pay all necessary sales tax on artwork sales

    • Commission rates are determined by membership level

    • Sales are reconciled monthly, with artist payments issued by check the first week of the following month
